How many of you purchase expensive calcium supplements?
Well there is nothing like using the ENTIRE egg. Egg shells are one source of calcium and here is how I do it:
Take the membrane out of the egg and set aside. Wait until you have accumulated 8-10 egg shells. Place on cookie sheet and put into a 200 degree oven for 5-10 minutes. Then grind in a coffee grinder. I take 1/4 teaspoon three times a day.
Just a word of caution, it is always better to get vitamins and minerals from your food. Supplementing too much calcium will displace magnesium.
There are many other uses for egg shells, I would love to hear some of your ideas!
Your questions and comments are welcome.
