Gluten Free Sweet Snack

The basic idea comes from Breaking the Vicious Cycle by Elaine Gottschall

It is Chewy Granola
It calls for 1/4-1/3 cup butter – I used coconut oil
!/2 cup honey
It calls for 1/2 cup raisins – omit or use whatever you want
1/2 cup unsweetened grated coconut
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts (I soaked and dehydrated mine – instructions in Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon)
1/2 teaspoon salt

In a saucepan stir butter (co) and honey over low heat until blended
Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients, stir well.
Spread in an 8 x 8 square ungreased pan (I use glass)
Bake at 350 for 25 min
