Calcium and Your Adrenal Glands

Your Adrenal rhythm determines how well you build bone. If your night cortisol level is high, and the morning levels don’t normallize, bones don’t rebuild, and the osteoporotic process occurs despite increasing your calcium intake. High cortisol causes calcium to leach from bone and leads to demineralization of bone. Taking calcium when cortisol rhythm is abnormal is pointless and detrimental if calcium leached from the bone is deposited in undesired locations.
