How To Make Marshmallows

Here is the recipe:

1/2 Cup Water
3 TBSP Non-Hydrolized Great Lakes Gelatin
Put water in large bowl and sprinkle gelatin over it. Make sure the gelatin is spread over the entire surface of the water. Let sit for 30 minutes.

2 Cups Organic Pure Cane Sugar
1/2 Cup Water

Cook the sugar and water together until it reaches 240 degrees – need a candy thermometer.

Pour hot sugar mixture over the gelatin and water and beat on high for about 10 minutes – maybe a bit more – until it peaks.

For flavoring add juice of half a lime or 1 tsp of vanilla -add flavoring after the mixture peaks

Put in 9 x 12 glass pan that has been coated with coconut oil. Let sit for 12 hours and then cut with a scissors – store in an air tight container

When you feel your blood sugar drop – have a small square.

  • Take 10-20 belly breaths before starting to eat – while doing this give thanks for what you are about to eat. The breathing increases oxygen levels in your body, which aids in digestion, metabolism and the burning of calories.
  • Remember the stomach is only as big as your hand when it is flat on a table – so that is really all the food that is necessary at a meal. Any more really must be considered a super-sized portion.
  • If you follow the above guidelines, you will need to eat more frequently - a healthy snack will take the edge off your hunger.
  • Think twice about going back for seconds, take a break and breath, and ask you what is the true purpose of that second helping!
  • Eat to boost your energy, not to stuff yourself.
  • Remember a super-sized portion means a super sized you.
  • Chew your food well, try not to inhale it - savior the flavors of what you are eating.
  • Try to purchase organic produce and drug free beef, chicken and fish.
  • Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day.
  • Avoid the 3 white devils – white sugar, white flour and white salt.
